The CISL Portal provides a customizable web interface to high-end computing resources and information. For example, you can view the GAU charges for the projects you're assigned to, view recent news or the Daily Bulletin, and check job status on supercomputers, all using the Portal.

The Portal consists of two components: "Pages" and "Channels." Channels are visible active components in a page that can contain static web pages or entire applications. Pages are user-customizable windows that contain several channels.

User information available in the Portal includes their 30 and 90-day GAU allocations, limits, and usage in a color-coded graphical format detailed by machine and individual user, as well as individual job accounting information. Other channels include a link to the CISL Consultant on duty, programming tips, other useful links, a variety of targeted searches, and a user guide.

Users can easily customize the layout of their view of the Portal in their browser. Further, the channels they select can be minimized on the page to produce a compact display. Context-sensitive help is provided throughout the portal.

To get started with the CISL Portal, simply login with your UCAS password.
