Attendance at the 2001 Summer Institute is required for all members of each team, July 8-21, 2001.
Housing description (for more info see http://www.uah.edu/HTML/StuLife/campusLiving.html):
each person has an air-conditioned, private bedroom in a four-person suite,
shares a bath with one suite mate (each suite has two baths)
suites are furnished with a mini-kitchen (small refrigerator, microwave oven, and sink), dining or study table and chairs, sofa, and easy chairs.
each bedroom has a twin bed, chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a desk with a bookshelf and a study chair.
two sets of bath linens each week
We can get a gym pass for each interested teacher. Spragins Hall has indoor swimming pool, racquetball, tennis and basketball courts, and a weight room.
Three meals will be provided daily in a dining hall, or per diem will be provided.
The workshops and labs will be held in the University Center.
A tour of the facilities at NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center, including open discussion with some of their scientists that are involved in computational science, will be arranged on a Friday during the Summer Institute.
