- Manager of Operations and Information Support, Scientific Computing Division, National
Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Boulder, Colorado.
- Manage staff of 19 who operate and provide the infrastructure for high performance
computing services and network services at NCAR for 1400 users located at 150 sites.
Chaired SC98 Education Program in Orlando for 200 teachers including content, funding from
NSF and NASA, prototype videoconferencing using the vBNS to remote sites in Illinois,
Iowa, and North Carolina.

- Manager of the User Services Section, Scientific Computing Division, NCAR, Boulder,
Colorado.
- Initiated and implemented a teacher training program at SC92 in Minneapolis. Program
Chair for the division's Site Liaison Workshop (1988, 1990) and the SCD User Conference
(1989, 1990, 1993). Technical Coordinator for the EPA Computing Project at NCAR in which
EPA used $1 million dollars of computing time (1989). Organizer and local arrangements
host of the first Workshop on Online Documentation in the Supercomputing Environment
(1990).

- Designed measurement assurance programs for RF microwave power to estimate offsets
between the National Bureau of Standards and other laboratories. Determined the
feasibility of establishing a carbon dioxide monitoring site on Mount Kenya, Africa by
estimating the precision of monthly averages. Taught a 25-lecture course on
"Probability and Statistics for Scientists." Co-authored four papers.
