ESS provides support to users needing CRYPTOCards, a form of one-time password (OTP) technology. When logging in to specific machines, users are given a unique challenge. This challenge is met using the OTP response generated by a CRYPTOCard. The result is a token which is valid for a single login session. Should this OTP get electronically "sniffed" by an unauthorized person, it would be useless for any future logins. The links below address some of the more common questions with CRYPTOCards.
