"New datasets from NCAR's Scientific Computing Division make ERA-40 climate data easier to use"

David Stepaniak, a software engineer in SCD's Data Support System, has produced a set of 12 new datasets that will make selected segments of the ERA-40 reanalysis collection available for the first time on a standard transformation grid. He expects there to be widespread interest in these datasets at universities, research institutions, and government laboratories.
