Two new standby generators, located at the southeast corner of NCAR's
Mesa
Laboratory, are now operational. They will provide emergency power in
case of electrical outages, protecting advanced computing and data storage
equipment at NCAR and helping scientists pursue their atmospheric research
with fewer disruptions.
