CONSOLE PORT MODE switch
A pinhole-sized switch next to the CONSOLE port on Cisco Catalyst 6500 Surevisor modules. The official positions are either "in" or "out". When set to the "out" position you'll see the white. 6500's ship "in", or depressed, as factory default.
