Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)

NCAR uses uninterruptible power supplies manufactured by American Power Conversion. APC makes an external SNMP monitoring device that you can hook to a power supply to make it manageable. The external devices are called PowerNet SNMP Adapters, and basically contain a minimal PC running an SNMP agent.
