Infrastructure Support Group

The Mission of the Infrastructure Support Group is to provide service to CISL by maintaining existing systems and planning for future infrastructure needs as they relate to the CISL computer room.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the installation and removal of new equipment in the computer room
• Manages the SCD hardware maintenance contracts
• Monitors, and manages the physical computer room environment including heating, cooling, humidity, power consumption and equipment location in the computer room.
• Manages SCD equipment inventory (excluding network equipment)
• Developes software to automate those tasks that can make the group, section and division more efficient
