Collaborators

NETS collaborated for three months with a team of Cisco Advanced TAC engineers on the analysis and redesign of the NETS layer two network and the VoIP system. Two detailed reports were created: Cisco Systems Advanced Services National Center for Atmospheric Research Campus Design Review And Best Practices Recommendation and Cisco Advanced Services NCAR IP Telephony - Detailed Design.

NCAR and NOAA/NCDC are collaborators on an hourly US data, 1928-1948, for 127 cities, key-entering and quality-control project. Roy Jenne, DSS, is the co-PI from NCAR.

NCAR, NOAA/CDC, and NOAA/NCDC are collaborators on the International Comprehensive Ocean-Atmosphere Data Set (I-COADS) project. Steven Worley, DSS, is the co-PI from NCAR.

NCAR and the All-Russian Research Institute for Hydrometeorological Information, Obninsk, Russia, are collaborators on an overall data exchange, including upper air, snow, ships, etc. Roy Jenne, DSS, is the co-PI from NCAR.

NCAR and the All-Russian Research Institute for Hydrometeorological Information, Obninsk, Russia, are collaborators on Digitization of Historical Marine Meteorological and Radiation Observations from Russian Research Vessels project. Steven Worley, DSS, is the co-PI from NCAR.

METIS: Research on Workflow in Distributed Collaborative Organizations. Aaron Andersen (NCAR), Ken Andersen (CU Boulder).
